Whilst Amazon allows you to browse all of the latest Amazon Prime Day deals, if you haven’t got a membership you cannot take advantage of the thousands of discounts, so what you need is a Prime Membership.

Amazon Prime currently costs £8.99 per month or if you prefer to pay things annually, it will cost £95. If you’re not already a Prime member you might be eligible for a free 30-day trial of Prime. Ii tis only available to those customers who have never been a Prime member before or a Prime Member in the last 12 months.

Use a Wish List

Have you added items to your Wish List? Go and visit them and it will tell you if there are any deals available on these items.

If you have got a Baby Wish List you could be eligible for additional discounts when you spend over a certain amount and close to your due date.

Compare against other retailers

Amazon do make it a little difficult when it comes to the actual savings that you are making. They use manufacturer’s RRP’s and not necessarily the prices they have been over the last 30 days, this can make it look like you are saving more that you would normally.

Our top tip for this is to take a look at other retailers, this includes Argos, Currys, John Lewis and even Very. Check the price there and also have a look to see if there is any cashback through sites such as Airtime Rewards or Quidco.

Don't Overspend

Try not to go too mad… If all like to shop but only purchase items if you really need them and more importantly if you can afford them. Whilst Amazon offer credit on items, only take it if you really need it.

Same goes for Credit Cards, use them if it gets you cashback or some extra airmiles for your holiday, but pay them off in full so that you don’t pay interest.
